高学静 教授

1、个人专长:

高学静教授的专长集中在图像处理,模式识别和数据挖掘技术。在新算法的设计和研究上,她成功地运用在多尺度医学图像处理和系统生物信息学领域。她领导并主持开发了世界上第一个四维亚细胞动态跟踪和建模(ICellDAS, Intracellular Cell Dynamics System)系统.此系统克服了复杂亚细胞结构的动态分析和定量研究。不同于通常单个亚细胞结构的研究,IcellDAS能有效自动地跟踪多个同类或异类亚细胞结构并提供动态分析和显示。这个研究会推动分子和细胞生物学的发展,从而从应用科学的角度更进一步带动和发展了图像处理技术。由于该创新性研究成果及其运用,她获得了2006年美国自然科学基金的CAREER Award,前称总统奖。

高学静教授的另一个杰出的贡献是蛋白生物标记信息系统(ProBIS,Proteomics Biomarker Information System)。通过最新模式识别和数据挖掘技术的设计,运用先进的蛋白质谱分析仪,ProBIS能提供最小微创临床疾病的诊断,治疗愈后和新药靶细胞的设计。此研究成果在2006年获得了美国自然科学基金的赞助。高教授目前正在研究和开发的盲人智能视觉系统集先进的传感器设计,微电子线路设计,和图像信息处理与一体,已经引起了广泛的反响。除了新闻媒体的报导和工业界的兴趣,美国盲人协会(American Blind Association)充分赞同此研究的重要性。

高学静教授领导的BioVIL实验室与不同的学科和院校广泛合作,在交叉学科的研究上打造世界领先水平。她曾获得德州大学阿灵顿分校杰出青年教授奖(2007)和卓越研究奖(2008, 2009)。由 于高 教授在多尺度图像处理和系统生物信息学领域的贡献,2010年她被推荐为美国电气和电子工程师协会(IEEE)生物信息委员会(Bioinformatics Committee)执行委员和秘书长。
